Women in Science at Yale is hosting an event at 1pm this Thursday, March 25, with Eileen Pollack, author of “The Only Woman in the Room” and a graduate of Yale’s physics department. Organized with Poland’s Nencki Institute, the event will feature a Q&A with Pollack and an international networking discussion for women in STEM.

Eileen Pollack Speaks on Science as a Boy’s Club: a collaborative event between the Women in Science at Yale and Nencki, Poland
WISAY have invited Prof. Eileen Pollack to lead a virtual discussion about strategies to counteract bias faced by women in STEM. Prof. Pollack is one of the first two women to earn a Bachelors of Science from the Physics Department at Yale, and the author of the book “The Only Woman in the Room: Why Science Is Still a Boys’ Club”. March 25th at 1PM ET, Yale affiliates will have the first opportunity to enroll in this event, with 250 spots allocated to institutes across the US.
