Event description:
Abstract: Based on https://arxiv.org/abs/2003.01742 and work in progress, I will discuss the use of Padé-Borel resummation techniques on the RG functions of non-abelian gauge theories in order to look for fixed points. I will show the results for the conformal window in 4d QCD, both at finite N and in the Veneziano limit. I will also discuss the application to UV fixed points in 5d non abelian gauge theories through the 4+epsilon expansion.
